The Annual General Meeting will be held on Jan 28, 2009 from 7-9pm in the worship centre at Calvary Baptist Church. This meeting is open to all but only members will be able to vote. At this meeting the budget for 2009 is presented and voted on and we elect church officers for 2009 (Elders, Church Clerk, Envelope Secretary, tellers & treasurer).
On Saturday, Jan. 24th there is a conference at Peace Portal Alliance Church, Surrey, BC called “Raising Truly Great Kids” with Dr. Tim Kimmel. The conference will be held on Saturday, January 24th: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and the cost is $34 US per person.
Dr. Kimmel teaches grace-based parenting, how to parent like God parents us with grace and forgiveness. His teaching is practical, scriptural and gospel-centered.
