Leadership Team

Our church is built around the congregational form of government, which means that it is the membership of the church that ultimately determines the priorities for Calvary.

Members have the privilege of responding to any item of discussion and voting on any recommendations made by the church leadership. This is one of the reasons that church membership is so important.

This includes primarily matters dealing with finance (budget, capital fund drive, special expenditures, loans), personnel (new members, pastors, elders, ministry coaches, treasurer, envelope secretary, tellers) and facilities (improvements, expansions, moves).

Having said that, we also value leadership. The membership grants authority to the Pastors and Elders to lead the church, with the expectation that their motive will always be love, their conduct be above reproach, and their practice be servant-leadership.

Calvary’s Leadership Team consists of:

  • The Pastors & Elders Council
  • the Ministry Coaches
  • the many Ministry Leaders
  • and Small Group Shepherds

We have equipping pastors on our staff, but the ministers of the church are the entire congregation of believers.
